What we do

We call it “the MJSC experience.”

All Muslim-Jewish Solidarity Committee programming is carefully planned and implemented to be highly inclusive, engaging, and interactive, with the goal of developing deep interpersonal relationships with one another that catalyze culture change. We seek to inspire transformations, clarity, reflections that shift perspectives, shed light on harmful myths, and spur catharsis. By providing a comprehensive variety of program options, we truly have something for everyone. It is impossible to attend an MJSC event without getting lost in the moment. We call it “the MJSC experience.” We love building and nurturing sustainable partnerships with other organizations and community groups to expand our social impact footprint.
All of our events and programs are independent of any political, institutional, or national agenda and are always open to all faiths and identities inclusive of ethnicity, race, politics, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. However, hate speech or hateful opinions are not permitted at any of our events.

Through our high-impact and innovative programming we address three critical needs:

Community Building

Communication Training

Social Action

Community Building

Our lived experiences teach us that diversity strengthens, not threatens, our identities. We are vocally committed to redefining and showing what community can represent. Communities and neighborhoods grow, change, and develop as time passes and norms shift.

Social Action

We regularly organize volunteer events in partnership with houses of worship and nonprofits serving those in need, including domestic violence shelters, soup kitchens and food distribution programs, and refugee assistance programs.

Communication Training

We all need to learn how to better focus on hearing, listening, responding to, and affirming each other. In our programs, each person is empowered with the warmth and space they need to express their personal experiences without fear.
