Thoufeek Zakriya

Artist, India
In 2015, the Muslim-Jewish Solidarity Committee held a Chanukah celebration at a mosque in New York City. All the way in India, Thoufeek Zakriya heard about the event on social media and was inspired to create a calligraphy piece of the word Chanukah both in Arabic and Hebrew. The piece featured here is a new version of that piece.
